Clinical & Forensic Psychologist
Sami Farhat, Ph.D., is a clinical and forensic psychologist who serves as a faculty member of the forensic psychology postdoctoral fellowship at Expert Psychological Evaluations. He provides consultation, training, and supervision to the practice and training program. His forensic psychology private practice is based in the Metro Detroit region of Michigan.
Dr. Farhat completed his Ph.D. at the University of Detroit Mercy. His primary clinical training took place in forensic settings, including the State of Michigan's Center for Forensic Psychiatry, the Third Circuit Court of Michigan, and the Arkansas State Hospital, where he completed his APA-approved internship. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in forensic psychology at the Arkansas State Hospital through the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), where he was subsequently appointed as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry conducting court-ordered evaluations and serving as an expert witness. He participated in training and education, including supervising doctoral interns and presenting at the state-wide training for community evaluators.
