I would like to know how sleep paralysis occurs and why. Does it imply some neurological/psychological problems? How can sleep paralysis be managed?
Here are a couple of articles that explore this phenomenon:
"Sleep Paralysis: phenomenology, neurophysiology and treatment" - https://arxiv.org/ftp/arxiv/papers/1704/1704.02342.pdf
"A systematic review of variables associated with sleep paralysis" - https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1087079217301120
