What signs should we look for in our friends or significant others or family, if we suspect they are a sociopath? What is the exact definition of a sociopath?
I think the surefire sign that tells you you're dealing with a psychopath is their extreme lack of any kind of empathy or emotion. Also, they can be superficially very charming but completely empty inside.
I would suggest reading the book, Snakes in Suits. It was very illuminating for me and can teach you a lot about psychopathic/sociopathic individuals you might interact with who are more commonly in the workplace than in prison.
I’ve noticed that they tend to be emotinally detached. When you pay attention to what they say and what they do, you’ll notice that they don’t give normal emotional reactions. They also have questionable morals.
Hey Elvi, great question. There are many signs and symptoms that someone might have sociopathic tendencies. What I generally tend to notice is lack of empathy. I think it's one of the most common signs. Also, they tend to lie a lot for no good reason.

Nice question. From what I've read sociopaths tend to be emotionally detached. They don't react normally to love expressions
