Can't psychopaths easily fake the psychometric assessment results? I have recently been watching a lot of crime investigation documentaries. In a documentary, I couldn't help but notice how a serial killer effortlessly results negative on a lie detector test.

That's an interesting question. I have never seen any data which suggested a psychopath would be better at faking psychometric assessment results. While a lie detector test may be impacted by the person's ability to regulate certain physiological responses, psychometric assessments use a range of very different methods to assess for feigning. Unless the psychopath was familiar with the tests or aware of the methods used, it is unlikely that simply being a psychopath would aid them. In some cases, narcissistic qualities and/or impulsivity associated with psychopathy may make the person more careless and confident in their ability to "beat the test," resulting in a greater likelihood of failing to do so.
