I actually recently read an interesting article on that topic. Although there is certainly research which shows an increase in the risk of violence amongst individuals with schizophrenia and antisocial personality disorder, an article which I am attaching here found that antisocial personality disorder did not predict violence or institutional misconduct in prison. The authors actually concluded in 2014, "In forensic contexts, testimony that an ASPD diagnosis identifies defendants who will pose a serious threat while incarcerated in prison presently lacks any substantial scientific foundation."
