Expressing one's emotions in a constructive way can be a significant challenge.
I loved the distinction between emotions, feelings and actions here. We need to be comfortable living with those feelings which scare us the most, it's all part of the human experience.
Alos loved the section about mindfulness and how it fosters the ability to dwell in the present with the emotions and feelings we're experiencing at the time.
Certain emotions such as anger can be more challening to express, that's why I like the psychological term sublimation where an unacceptable feeling finds outlet in other forms of activity such as violence and sports or art. I suppose, anger can be targeted in this fashion.
