There have been some great tips there. I think on a personal level trying to live mindfully, and achieving an emotional balance helps me deal with others. I think 'being' a good person is actually a daily grind of self-improvement, and I don't think one should ever be inclined to believe the job is done. That level of complacency might blind you to a weak spot.

UI think we often believe we are good communicators merely because we learn to talk from an early age, but in actual fact, good communication takes years of practice.

Practice kindness without pandering to others...
Allow yourself to let go of your preconceived notions....
