FORENSIC SCIENCE & FORENSIC PSYCHOLOGY ARE SAME !
FACT-
It's true that both areas use science to solve crimes. Main difference between the two is Forensic Science is "Hard Science" it involves laboratory based Investigation. Forensic Psychology is "the application of the science and profession of psychology to questions and issues relating to law and the legal system." They use their experience & Expertise to understand situations within a legal context.

In addition one may consider the types of evidence are different.
Forensic science may analyse data such as fingerprints, DNA and shoe impressions. The evidence is very much tangible what you can hold.
Forensic psychology is interested in the characteristics of the individual, motivations and desires etc and the individual's mind to address issues such as culpability.
