Here is one article outlining a survey which was carried out with two groups 128 before the covid shutdowns and 156 one year later.
After the onset of Covid - 143 of the 156 (92%) forensic practitioners used telepsychology services as opposed to 71 of the 128 (55%) before the onset of Covid.
The benefits of utilising telepsychology interventions before Covid were reduced costs for courts and reduced cost and wait times for evaluees. However, this needs to be balanced with the concerns of some evaluees and forensic practitioners including privacy and security and rapport.
