A forensic psychologist - Dr Katherine Ramsland explained on a podcast how the BTK killer (Dennis Lynn Radar) was finally caught.
Ramsland has pointed out on the podcast 'Coptales and Cocktails' how Radar's criminal evolution began at a young age. Typical of serial killers, a lack of empathy began with cruelty to animals with Radar hanging cats. Along with this troubling development was a rich fantasy life in which Radar would imagine binding girls to railroad tracks.
Later in his criminal development, Radar devoured true crime magazines and cultivated a fascination with famous serial killers.
For her part, Ramsland points out the origins of her fascination with her work being Jack the Ripper and the enduring puzzle it has left.
No,matter how smart you think you are if you are doing bad things you gonna get caught. In his case communication became his cause of capture.
