So there's a bit of a jumble with this kind of material, so I'm seeking for someone to express their thoughts on it. I'm a forensic psychology expert myself, but I'd like someone to clarify this matter more.
Great answer from @Jess Monck! We often consider forensic psychology to be a subspecialty of clinical psychology. Neuropsychology, school psychology, police psychology, and correctional psychology would be some other examples.
Clinical psych focuses on treatment and assessment of me illness while forensic psych is assessment and treatment related to issues in the the criminal justice system. There’s quite a lot of overlap at times. Some things are more exclusive to just one.
